Mornings at BIMA just got more exciting! Our kindergarten students now have their very own shuttle service, connecting the Primary–High School building directly to their Kindergarten building.
Instead of parents having to navigate through the morning traffic and make an additional trip to the Kindergarten building, they can simply drop off their little ones at the main building. From there, our teachers are ready at the designated pick-up station to welcome the children and accompany them onto the cheerful little shuttle bus. Once everyone is safely on board, off they go for a short, comfortable, and fun ride to class!
A Simple Solution to Morning Traffic
The shuttle was introduced not only to make the children's journey more enjoyable, but also to help address one of the challenges we face during busy school mornings: traffic congestion around the school buildings.
With kindergarten families no longer needing to drive directly to the Kindergarten building, the number of vehicles around the area during drop-off time has been reduced. This creates a smoother and more organized arrival experience for parents, students, teachers, and the surrounding community.
After being implemented for an entire academic year, the impact has become clear. The shuttle has proven to be more than just a convenient transportation service. It has become an important part of the morning routine at BIMA and has helped create a smoother start to the school day.
More Than Just a Ride
Perhaps the most wonderful surprise has been seeing how much the children love the shuttle.
For many of our kindergarten students, riding the bus has become something they genuinely look forward to. The short journey has turned into a little adventure at the beginning of their school day: climbing aboard, seeing their friends, waving goodbye to their parents, and enjoying the ride together.
We have seen how this excitement can encourage children to look forward to coming to school. What might once have been a difficult morning goodbye can become, “I want to go to school! I want to ride the bus!”
That simple excitement matters. When children associate arriving at school with something positive, joyful, and exciting, it helps create a happier start to their learning journey.
Safe, Smooth, and Full of Smiles
Safety remains our top priority. Teachers are present at the pick-up station to help students board the shuttle, and the children are accompanied throughout their short journey to the Kindergarten building.
At the same time, the shuttle gives parents greater peace of mind. They can drop their children off at the main building knowing that the BIMA team is there to guide them safely to their classrooms.
At BIMA, we believe that learning begins from the moment children arrive at school. By making that arrival safer, smoother, and more enjoyable, the Kindergarten Shuttle has become a small initiative with a meaningful impact.
One academic year later, the results speak for themselves: less traffic, smoother mornings, happier children, and a little bus ride that many of our youngest learners now look forward to every day. 💛
